It all started with food. What I mean is, my education on what kinds of things to avoid buying, and putting in my body, started with food. With age, I have become more concerned with my health, and thanks to social media and the web, I found Bobby Parrish. His help is mostly with food, but also with things like supplements, soap, shampoo, body wash, makeup and etc. You get it. I have been using SebaMed body wash, shampoo and lotion for a few years. I really like the products for several reasons, so I was sad to see that the ratings (EWG skin deep) weren't as good as I would like. After seeing the scores, which really aren't terrible, but could be better, I decided to try some of the products that are considered safer, and this body wash by Alaffia is one of them. Sorry for all the info you weren't looking for. Here's my review. The high praise is real this time! I have definitely made purchases based on great reviews that I regretted buying. This body wash is not one I regret. The scent is mild, it lathers we'll, a little goes a long way, it rinses easily and doesn't dry out my skin. WIN! I will be using it for now on. It feels great knowing that I'm not using a product that containing ingredients that could be harmful to my wellbeing. CheersMy husband and I both like this body wash. The employee recommended Alafia and I’m so glad she did. I’ve never had a liquid body soap and shampoo that my skin actually works with. I never get dry skin like I used to. It’s helped my eczema immensely and I barely get dry patches anymore. Even in the winter months which was typically the worst for me and my skin. The shampoo also is top notch. No dry scalp and moisturizing for my hair. I hope this company stays around forever. Because I don’t want to have to find another brand that works as well as this one does!I've been using the Alaffia Everyday Coconut Body Wash for many years now, and continue to come back to it as the best I've found. While the ingredients are derived from coconut, they don't have any coconut scent, so I don't emerge from the shower smelling like a Mounds bar. Instead, it's just a clean scent that doesn't linger. Suds are good even in hard water, so you're sure you're actually getting clean. At the same time, it doesn't annoy my fairly dry and sensitive skin, so I can use it every day without any issues. I wouldn't recommend trying to use it to replace a shampoo, as it can be drying to the hair, but it's great as a general body product.My family of five have been using Alaffia products over a year and love how they make our hair and skin feels, I'm not happy with the way the bodywash came this time. I ordered the two pack and both caps were VERY LOOSE and leaked all over in the packaging. I will still be using this product just packing and shipping needs some attention.No complaints about how it actually works.... but be warned, if you use it with a light colored wash cloth and don't rinse it 100% out, it looks like there is poop stains or something on it. I was really worried about my kids' hygiene until I realized it was soap residue, ha ha!This stuff is amazing, I am a obese white woman. I have lost 100lbs that has caused big fat folds that sweat. I have tried many different soaps over the years, this is the only soap that actually gets the sweat off and rinses off and there is no slimy feeling left behind. As a over weight person that gets rashes if not totally clean this is a great soap to use !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Some time passes after my shower and the pump decides to push more out so I get a mess in my shower. It dries before the next shower and takes a little scrub to remove. It's brown, it looks ugly on the light tub. So I'm losing product and have an unsightly mess. I take a star off for packaging. As for the product itself, I have nothing bad to say about it. It seems to treat my skin well. I use a Japanese exfoliating bathing towel and it lathers it up well.
